Meredith Mayes, Professional Engineer
Ms. Meredith Mayes is a licensed Professional Engineer. She received her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Environmental Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She has more than five years of experience performing remedial investigation and remediation projects under state regulatory programs including, but not limited to, Pennsylvania’s Land Recycling and Redevelopment Act (Act 2) and New Jersey’s Site Remediation Reform Act (SRRA). She has also worked on sites in New York, Connecticut, Georgia, Florida, Michigan, and Bermuda.
Ms. Mayes performs field and office tasks associated with environmental and engineering assignments. She leads field operations involving investigation and/or remediation of soil, sediment, concrete, indoor and sub-slab air, and groundwater concerns. This work is most often implemented at industrial/commercial sites. Among other skill sets, Ms. Mayes provides design, organization, and assessment experience to nearly all projects she is assigned.
Ms. Mayes performs in-house engineering design for site development and remediation projects. She also prepares Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SPPP), National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permits, various state air permits, Phase I and Phase II environmental assessment reports, remedial investigation and remedial action work plans and reports. She constructs and utilizes geographic information system (GIS) databases and a variety of other programs, including AutoCAD, to support these work products.← Back to Staff
